Each enemy you come across has a main agenda against you and a hidden agenda that can only be revealed through espionage. There are several victory conditions in the game (eXpand, eXploit, eXplore and eXterminate) based on the 4X elements. These policies allow or limit certain aspects of a civilization and can be changed for free when you complete a single Civic or for some cost any other time. Completing certain civics unlocks certain policies for the player’s government and you can then incorporate these policies into Economic, Diplomatic, Military and Wildcard categories. A feature called Eureka Moments lets users increase their progress towards certain technologies after completing specific tasks. In addition to this, military installations are now built into separate tiles from the main city tile. However, unlike previous games in the series, Civilization VI unstacks city districts from the main city tile and awards bonuses for placing districts near certain terrain types. You are given the command of a small nation and via cultural influence, military domination and technological breakthroughs, you have to develop a massive world power out of it through several periods of development.
